Appointments

We typically see patients by appointment only Monday through Saturday, with evening hours Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. Routine visits should be made in advance. Patients with acute illnesses will be seen as soon as possible.

We realize your time is valuable and make every effort to keep your appointment on time. We attempt to confirm all appointments that have been made in advance. However, we are not always able to reach everyone.

If you are unable to keep an appointment, please give us 24 hours notice. This courtesy allows us to offer the appointment to another patient who needs to see the doctor. Also, if you are more than thirty (30) minutes late for your appointment, you may be asked to reschedule.

Telephone Calls: Calls are answered by the staff during office hours. After hours, weekends, and holidays, the physicians can be reached by dialing the office and following the directions given on the recording. Please limit after hour calls to emergencies that cannot wait until the office is open. Our staff members are directed to ask the nature of your problem. Please give us as much information as possible as this will help us prioritize the calls and respond to your needs.

Medication Refills: If you are requesting routine medication refills, please call your pharmacy directly. The pharmacy can then electronically notify our office. If for some reason you are not able to reach the pharmacy, we have a voice mail system in place to leave your information. Please have your pharmacy’s name and phone number as well as the medication and dosage instructions. Make sure to call in advance so you don’t run out of a medication before you get your refill.

Referral Requests: We also have a phone mail system for referrals for managed care programs. We ask that you provide all necessary information and allow an appropriate amount of time for routine referrals (at least five business days).
